Gail Young has been tutoring Orange County students since 1980.
Gail’s methodology is based on her passion and love in helping students succeed, with more than 30 years of experience teaching both privately and in K-12 classrooms. Gail has a Master’s degree in Education and specialization/credentials in teaching children to read (Reader specialization credential), especially among children with learning disabilities, such as ADHD. Gail does more than tutor students and prepare them for top universities– her passion for teaching and mentoring students helps children gain a love for learning that keeps them wanting to come back.
Some of her accolades include:
- 35+ years of experience preparing children for top universities, including Stanford, USC, UCLA, Harvard, and Cal-Berkeley.
- Unique expertise teaching children with learning disabilities, including ADHD, dyslexia, and autism-spectrum disorders.
- Experience as a classroom teacher to learn the expectations of the schools, including at local OC/Newport Mesa/Corona del Mar schools (Harbor View and Corona del Mar high school).
